It’s another beautiful day here today. This long spell of hot weather reminds me of the summer holidays when I was a kid, the days were endless, the sun was always shining and we only went in when it was time to eat and that was usually under protest as we were far too busy playing to stop for food. It was amazing how much entertainment you could get from a washing up liquid bottle filled with water, a skipping rope, a bat and ball, chalk and a few stones. I actually feel like I would like to go and chalk a ‘Hop Scotch’ on the pavement outside and go out and play.
