Collection: Sashiko Embroidery

Sashiko is a type of Japanese needlework using running stitch to create a design. Sashiko means "little stabs" and refers to the small stitches used in this form of embroidery.

Traditional Sashiko designs are stitched using white thread on a navy background and are based on nature, they include flowers, waves and leaves. Some are stand alone designs and some are interlocking or repetitive geometric designs.
